ourni is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior CRM Manager to join our team based in Vienna.


  • Work full-time (38.5 h/w) within a passionate, motivated and super international team with English as the working language
  • Be part of the leadership and strategy team at Journi, representing the voice of the CRM team when defining goals and strategic direction
  • Coordinate with the CMO, Head of Performance Marketing, Head of Finance and BI team in order to create a cohesive marketing plan, translate outcomes into actionable CRM measures that you execute with your team in order to achieve CRM revenue goals
  • Own the end to end implementation and management of our Journi business CRM solution
  • Gain deep understanding of our customer segments and their needs in order to build customer lifecycles and user journeys, transform this knowledge into powerful campaigns with an impact
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CRM, use your knowledge and experience to boost our activation, repurchase and retention rates
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-market CRM campaigns by defining tasks, sharing these with your teammates and ensuring they are executed on time
  • Be a challenger and supporter within your team by always being well informed about our CRM performance and using this knowledge to give guidance on quick fixes, changes, improvements or new approaches
  • Train and build the CRM team as needed


  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, particularly with involvement in strategic planning and team guidance
  • Proven track record of translating company goals into CRM measures, overlooking their execution and acting as a problem solver when monitoring and analysing their performance
  • Experience in marketing communication, briefing campaigns and strong judgement of creatives and messaging
  • You are passionate about communication, CRM, ecommerce and strategy
  • You have deep understanding for CRM metrics (such as retention, engagement, win-back and revenue), know how to monitor and analyse this data in order to propose action points
  • You love and embrace A/B testing as well as identifying different levels, markets and segments for CRM
  • You are familiar with using CRM automation platforms such as Leanplum or Braze
  • You have excellent organizational skills, are detail-oriented, constantly questioning the status quo and challenging the accuracy of your output while meeting critical project deadlines
  • You are known as a self-starter who initiates new ideas and processes where needed
  • You’re a team player and look beyond your own responsibilities to achieve company-wide goals, you love giving advice and guidance to the team
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a collaborative culture


  • Experience in a startup or ecommerce environment
  • Additional language skills in German, French or Italian are a plus
  • Experience with SQL or Tableau is a strong plus
