The dept

The Milan-based English dept is dedicated to delivering a world-class service to all areas of the business to drive the firm’s international ambitions. Working in this dynamic environment is challenging, demanding, rewarding – and fun!

The role

As team assistant, your overriding objective will be to help ensure that the dept runs like a dream. You’ll be a focal point for the team and accountable for a broad range of activities. Besides the usual administrative tasks, key duties will include the following (to name but a few!):

  • Establish, maintain and develop departmental processes, procedures and databases
  • Prepare reports
  • Organise workshops, English placement tests, special events, etc.
  • Coordinate external translations
  • Help create, maintain and update training and on-the-job support material (inc. on the LMS)
  • Contribute to the myriad of exciting projects in the pipeline
  • Share your great ideas

The ideal candidate

 

Skills:

  • First-rate organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding communication skills – must be a native English speaker with solid Italian
  • Understanding of the nitty-gritty of preparing and running training courses and events
  • Ability to juggle a multitude of tasks without dropping a single ‘ball’
  • Ability to keep your cool – and a cheerful disposition – even when the going gets tough
