POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide optimum customer service as required to maintain and enhance existing business and to obtain new business. This requires that you take personal and complete responsibility for every order to ensure that the customer requirements are met from time of initial order receipt until the product is delivered, invoiced.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage order process including:
  • Check that orders are entered with correct terms and discounts according to seasonal deadlines
  • Liaison with sales, logistics and purchasing to ensure a smooth customer experience for all accounts
  • Monitor product availability and communicate with accounts and sales teams about possible changes that affect pending orders
  • Ensure orders are released on time to meet customer requested date
  • Support the monthly Forecast process and active follow up of the country monthly shipping target
  • Work with sales team to provide required maintenance of customer accounts
  • Maintain a close relationship with customers by phone and emails throughout the season and following up where necessary

Order book management including:

  • Order Entry and follow up
  • Reconciliation of returns, chargebacks, and exceptions
  • Process credits
  • Issue Return Authorizations for warranties, returns.
  • Work with warehouse to resolve shipping issues
  • Communicate with credit department and proactively manage orders on credit hold
  • Assist with special projects as needed (special promotions, mailings, trade shows and sales presentations, etc.)

EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working experience in a Customer Service environment
  • Feeling for the needs of customers and being able to turn complain into positive sales
  • Experience in ERP systems as an active user of different systems, for instance Windows
  • Fluent in French (ideally mother tongue) and very good English knowledge
