The Customer Care Specialist provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. Work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Customer Care Specialist, you will:
• Be the primary POC with customer for reporting project / contract/task order status / administration
• Process contract actions and modifications, including obtaining and evaluating proposals, participating in and documenting negotiations, preparing and inputting modifications and generating all associated documents
• Process invoices and resolves payment problems
• Act as a part of a Center of Excellence team, which includes creating, maintaining and sharing best practices across different sites which support product lines
• Be responsible for various reporting for the business
• Support on-time delivery and proactively manage the order to meet the commitment with customers
• Manage backlog for select products, ensuring proactive communications on delivery issues
• Establish and maintain a highly effective relationship with sales team, supply chain, engineering, Finance, direct customers and channel partners
• Drive continuous improvement cross functionally to improve user satisfaction and support account penetration / growth
• Receive and resolve and /or escalate customer issues and inquiries
• Develop product knowledge of those products which are being quoted or for which orders are being processed
• Participate in scheduled and self-directed training to develop and maintain core competencies
• Provide phone coverage and work in a team environment to quickly address customer calls
• Perform all other duties as assigned by a manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Commercial or Oil & Gas industry
• Fluent both in English and Spanish
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point and Excel)
• Understanding of the Field Sales/Service and Product delivery processes
• Computer proficiency PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Mature self-starter – able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience working with government entities and government sub-contractors
• Strong Customer Focus
• Professionalism to interact with internal and external customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and project management skills
• SAP experience, SalesForce.com and / or Oracle
