The Role:

We need a football and sport-loving social media native to coordinate and execute MyCujoo’s social presence, and drive amazing content and campaigns on our platforms. You’ll need to be able to create content that speaks to our global audience, and work with our local offices to help serve content from Japan to Portugal to Brazil. We’re looking for someone who will thrive working with our cheeky tone of voice, a wealth of viral football and wider sports content, and create engagement with our millions of followers.

Responsibilities:

  • Principal content coordinator, execute day-to-day content calendar needs, including writing copy, asset coordination, and scheduling postings to our social platforms. Understand content fans crave
  • Create and develop innovative, entertaining content and storytelling, particularly around our athlete community, which engages and grows our audiences across social channels, in line with KPIs
  • Working with our content team to source the best and most appropriate content for our channels
  • Be adaptable to work with the MyCujoo brand, content partners, publishers and brand partners
  • Monitor, recognise, and implement ongoing improvements to the workflow and output of each channel
  • Early identification of new industry practices and innovations in organic and branded social, with an ability to transfer those into action

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience in a social media role, managing large, global communities preferred
  • Superb creative writing and people skills
  • Experience working with teams of content creators/producers, creatives and internal stakeholders, preferably across multiple locations
  • A passion for football and sport
  • Understanding of a broad range of social channels including emerging platforms across design, functionality, geography, and demographics
  • Proficiency in at least one Social Media Management tool such as Social Report, Buffer, or Hootsuite
  • A self-starter who is able to effectively work independently and autonomously
  • Fluency in English (Portuguese would be a lovely bonus!)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus
