About the Role

 

We are currently seeking a Operations Program Manager on our New Mobility (Electric Bikes) Supply Chain Team. The scope of this role will include setting up manufacturing processes with third party, implementing lines, yield metrics and other manufacturing process related activities. You will setup new operations and manage day-to-day activities of existing ones.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise all aspects of the build operation and team, including receiving of container shipments, assembly of new products, final adjustments, and testing prior to shipment to launch cities.
  • Manage third parties and external partners to ensure all deliverables meet our launch plan.
  • Create detailed operations plans that align with the overall program requirements.
  • Communicate with logistics teams to coordinate shipments.
  • Collaboratively work with stakeholders to establish production goals and oversee the execution of our production to ensure we meet our goals and KPIs.
  • Leadership by example – able to motivate, inspire and create an inclusive and positive work environment for all.
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution – we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment by following safe work practices and procedures.
  • Write process documents, work instructions, and checkout procedures.
  • Identify root cause of production issues and implement permanent fixes.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 3 years of business consulting, investment banking, manufacturing, or operations management experience
  • Experience with data-based decision-making, exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team.
  • Strong Excel skills a must, other database experience helpful. Comfortable learning and using new software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships, lead a team, manage employees, and create a result-driven but fun workplace
  • Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure solution
  • Excellent organization and time management systems for yourself and your employees
  • Clear Communicator. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly and highlight the key insights.
  • Fluency in English is required, Portuguese is a nice to have.
  • Knowledge or passion for any of the following a plus: the Lisbon area, SQL, bikeshare, bike mechanics, mobility, and data/programming/IT.
  • Availability to travel, mainly Portugual (30% – 50% of the time.
