The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for the Security portfolio in the Nordics shall be responsible for generating a high volume of transactions in both new and existing accounts. Using a variety of tools such as outbound calling, email, and other lead generating methods, the candidate will prospect, qualify, position, demonstrate, and close software license and maintenance opportunities.

The ISR will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives through the execution of telemarketing programs as well as tracking and maintaining leads and opportunity data in Micro Focus’ CRM system.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

Carry a revenue quota to meet or exceed sales targets primarily over the phone

Interact with customers at all levels, including Senior Management and C-level

Understand and document customer’s business and IT strategies, priorities and goals

Identify, develop, execute, and maintain account and territory strategies to drive revenue within assigned accounts

Create complex account strategy identifying opportunities for growth and development in their own marketplace.

Drive prompt resolution of customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Ensure accurate and timely forecasts and management reporting

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated track record of B2B Sales and Account Management

Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with both business and IT customers

Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships

Strong consultative selling ability – critical questioning, listening, analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation

Knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs and overcome objections

High energy, motivated self-starter attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences

Must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, self-starter, ability to multi-task and highly motivated to bring positive results

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

B2B Sales experience

Experience in negotiating

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Software Sales experience (Security software experience is advantage)

Ability to speak either Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish with fluent English
