You’ll be helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience to IIlumina’s customers across Europe, with a focus on the Nordic regions (including Finland; Sweden; Norway and Denmark). Within this team, you’ll be taking the lead in driving continuous improvement regarding the customer experience for your customers across your particular region. As well as helping our customers you will also be liaising with the sales and internal support functions to deliver best in class service to all your customers.

Your customers are at the forefront of genetics and NGS (Next Generation Sequencing), helping to deliver advancements in life sciences, oncology, reproductive health, agriculture and other emerging markets. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing front-office support
  • Responding to inquiries and resolving issues for the customers in your region
  • Processing customer orders
  • Provide phone and email support to internal and external customers
  • Backlog management
  • Driving continuous improvement and safeguarding best practice
  • Working closely with Technical support, Quotes, Sales, Finance and the Field Service & Support organisation to ensure that Illumina provides world-class experiences for their customers
  • Provide customers with order verification, updates on delivery dates, product availability and pricing

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Fluent writing and speaking skills in English
  • Fluency in Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish
  • Previous experience in customer service or support
  • Graduate (HBO) degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Genuine team player with strong relationship building skills
  • Previous experience with SAP is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems and to work effectively in a team environment
