Main Tasks

Contributes to the development and drives the implementation of the Group Digital and IT internal communication strategy and plan Acts as a business partner to the SVP Group Function Strategy & Business Development / CIO and all areas of IT Function Creates and delivers materials that support their communication needs Trains leaders and colleagues in “Strategic communication for Leaders”, using current and relevant materials Ensures optimal communication channel mix to maximize outreach to internal audiences and measures efficiency and effectiveness Manages internal communication projects Manages internal communications contribution to leadership conferences and other relevant meetings Delivers oral, written and digital communication as needed and tailored to audience needs Manages and develops the team members both functionally and as a high performing team. Represents the IT function in the Essity Communications Network Ensures cascading of all relevant information, practices and policies from the Group Function Internal Communications to the CIO and IT Function

Key Competencies

To be successful in this role you have to be able to understands Business Strategy and Technology and are able connect communications strategies/plans to Business Strategy. You have the capability to analyze business needs from a communications point of view. As a professional you are able to provide communications expertise to the CIO and broader IT function and navigate efficiently within a matrix organization. You understand the needs of internal target groups, align messages and deploy them consistently. You have the capability to evaluate and adopt relevant new communications trends and know which tools/channels to use to effectively reach target audience.

University Degree (Masters) in Communication, PR or Marketing, or equivalent At least 5 years working experience in Communications or PR, preferably in an international matrix organization High degree of digital savviness, incl. social media management Native English speaking is a must and Swedish speaking is preferred Superior presentation skills Masters creation and delivery of oral, written and digital communications Excellent team-player in multinational teams Solid project management experience
