Cultural Care Au Pair is looking for a Country Product Manager to lead the Hungarian team out of our Berlin, Germany office. This is a great position and opportunity to join a fast-growing entrepreneurial organization which is also a global leader in its field.  We are looking for an ambitious, organized and results-driven professional who will be responsible for recruiting au pairs for the Cultural Care program. As a Country Product Manager you manage the department like a small business and are involved in all facets of its success, including strategy development, sales and marketing, goal setting, staff management, budgeting, collateral production, etc. The role will report to a Sales Director who is based in Berlin, Germany.

 

The role

  • Planning, coordination and development of sales & marketing activities including leads generation strategies (online & offline) and CRM drive
  • Leadership and development of sales staff including recruitment, training plan, tracking of achievement, performance reviews
  • Management of quality control and customer service via contact with overseas operations
  • Full ownership of direct sales in the country and of the achievement of sales targets on a weekly basis, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Ownership of product budget with P&L responsibility
  • Complete ownership of all other relevant business aspects and expansion related to the program

Qualifications

  • Mother tongue Hungarian and Fluency in English are strict requirements
  • Marketing/Business degree preferred, but not required)
  • International experience (study/work) or extended exposure to an international environment
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in the sales and/or marketing functions
  • Strong business insight and commercial instinct
  • Tested leadership ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and be efficient – meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word)

You should be comfortable doing all aspects of the job: tele-sales, screening candidates, hiring and training office and field staff, visiting schools/universities, managing a budget, etc. This is a management position with 2 direct reports and the ideal candidate should be proactive and able to multitask from day one.
