We are looking for a professional hotel receptionist to welcome our guests, to the standards of our business.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure customer satisfaction and augment our establishment’s reputation.
Dealing with bookings
Completing arrival and departure procedures for both FITs and groups
Cutting keys and showing guests to their cabin
Sorting bills and taking payments
Taking and passing on messages between guests and the various departments
Attending to special requests
Work with other staff as a team
Answering general enquiries and forwarding complaints
Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and French are an advantage.
Finnish Alcohol Legislation Proficiency Certificate
Ability to follow instructions and workflow diligently
Proven work experience as a hotel receptionist
Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
Customer-oriented and planning skills
Proficiency in a Property Management System – we use Mews PMS
Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system
Outstanding people skills
Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
Pay, duration and benefits
Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period
Starting between October and November 2018 and until the end of March 2019
Hourly pay according to the collective labour agreement
Other benefits according to collective labour agreement
