Accounting: Ensure the general ledger is always an accurate reflection, of the legal entity’s financial position in respect of cost of sales/inventory and Operating Expenses.
Controlling: For the manufacturing plant, develop an annual budget as well as monthly forecasting and reporting. Participate to the annual standard costing process, ensuring the integrity of the standard costs. Report and explain monthly manufacturing variances, supporting and developing corrective actions plans if appropriate. Provide quarterly analysis of inventory and justify the level of inventory provision. Close the entity’s monthly managerial accounts in an efficient and effective manner, guaranteeing reliability of costs and consistency of analytical data. Provide transfer price calculation for plant’s finished products.
Business & financial control: Ensure the company’s policies and procedures are respected and that legal entity’s integrity is always maintained.
Business Support: Provide financial business support to Saluggia SG&A managers.
Other: Support both internal and external auditors as requested during their audit.
Master Degrees in Finance/Economics
3 years of experience in an equivalent position
Technical budgetary procedures
Ability to analyze, summarize and succinctly communicate financial issues
Knowledge of standard costing process methodology, particulary BOM and production cycles evaluation
Sound knowledge of GAAP, particularly in relation to inventory
A good level in English (written and spoken)
